Job description9–15 years of experience in software or data engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role. Strong proficiency in Python programming. Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and related ecosystems. Proven experience with AWS data services (EMR, Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, etc.). Solid understanding of data architecture, distributed computing, and performance optimization. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in Big Data technologies to lead a high-performing team of data engineers. The ideal candidate has deep technical expertise in Python, Apache Spark, and AWS-based data solutions, along with a passion for building scalable data platforms and mentoring technical teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor a team of Big Data engineers to design, build, and optimize large-scale data processing systems.
- Drive technical decisions around architecture, tools, and frameworks for high-performance data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement efficient ETL / ELT pipelines.
- Ensure best practices for data quality, performance, and security across distributed systems.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and team performance with a balance of technical depth and leadership.
