A. Primary Responsibilities
Functional Responsibilities
- Identify and establish relationship with e -commerce platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio and other relevant portals to expand the company's online sales channels.
- Responsible for ensuring all products are listed and optimized to the highest standards across the market places.
- Increase ranking in the listing and search results to increase sales conversion and maximize revenue.
- Generate customer reviews, and monitor ratings to protect and enhance marketplace status.
- Set sales targets and develop strategies to achieve these targets.
- Provide guidance and coaching to individual team members to improve their sales skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities.
- Monitor the team's sales activities and performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Set performance goals and objectives for team members and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Conduct sales meetings and training sessions to provide ongoing training and updates on sales techniques, new products, and promotions.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure a smooth sales process and consistent customer experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients by addressing customer concerns and providing appropriate solutions or assistance.
- Motivate and inspire the team to achieve their targets, recognize and reward outstanding performance, and address any performance issues or conflicts.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in market conditions to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
- Participate in recruitment and selection processes to hire new team members, and actively mentor and develop sales representatives for future leadership roles.
- Should address customers over the phone, email, and chat when business or situation demands.
