Team

The Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC) team at Glean is a dedicated function with end-to-end ownership of sales compensation—from plan design and documentation through data validation, calculation, audit, and payout—under clear governance and strong controls. The team works closely with Sales Ops, Finance, HR, and Payroll to ensure fair, accurate, and timely payouts, while providing centralized, responsive support to resolve seller questions quickly

Role

At Glean, we’re hiring a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst in Bengaluru, INDIA to own and elevate our end‑to‑end sales compensation operations. Reporting to the Manager, Sales Compensation, this role partners with HR, Finance, GTM Sales, Sales Operations, Accounting, and Payroll to deliver accurate, timely, and transparent commissions, SPIFFs, and other variable incentives.

You will lead the process for commission calculations, bookings tracking and crediting, monthly & quarterly payouts, and administration of our Everstage ICM instance—building strong controls, documentation, and auditability while driving scalability as we grow.

What you’ll do

  • Own end‑to‑end commission operations, including accurate monthly and quarterly commission calculations, SPIFFs (Sales Performance Incentive Funds), and other variable incentive payouts, with a focus on timeliness and data integrity.
  • Manage bookings tracking and crediting, ensuring correct attribution by policy and resolving exceptions with Sales Operations and Finance.
  • Administer and optimize our Everstage (Incentive Compensation Management) instance, including plan configuration, credit rules, data pipelines, testing, and user support.
  • Maintain the global sales compensation calendar and processes for approvals, payroll hand‑offs, and statement distribution.
  • Build and deliver clear, auditable compensation statements and dashboards for payees and leadership.
  • Investigate and resolve comp disputes, policy clarifications, and edge cases;

propose root‑cause fixes that prevent repeat issues.

  • Partner with HR and Finance on plan launches, updates, and change management;
  • ensure policies are documented, communicated, and consistently applied.

  • Drive controls, audit readiness, and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations;
  • maintain thorough calculation documentation and version history.

  • Identify process and system improvements that increase accuracy, transparency, and scalability as we grow.
  • What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years in Sales Compensation roles, with hands-on ownership of commission calculations and payouts.
  • Strong proficiency with ICM tools , comfortable configuring rules, troubleshooting data issues, and supporting end users.
  • Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills and experience reconciling data across CRM, ERP, and payroll systems.
  • Solid understanding of bookings, attribution / crediting, accelerators, caps / floors, and SPIFF mechanics.
  • Sharp analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills;
  • you balance speed with precision and documentation.
