Role Overview

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and directing the execution of high-profile, complex interior design projects from start to finish. This role involves providing strategic leadership, driving project success, and ensuring alignment with client objectives, design standards, and company goals. The Lead Project Manager manages all aspects of the project, including budget, timeline, resources, and stakeholder communication, while mentoring and guiding a team of project managers and design professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership and Strategy : Lead the execution of large-scale interior design projects, setting strategic goals and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Client Relationship and Stakeholder Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations, ensuring satisfaction, and maintaining strong, long-term relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Team Leadership and Development : Lead and mentor a team of project managers, designers, and other professionals, fostering a collaborative work environment and ensuring that all team members contribute effectively to project goals.
• Financial and Resource Oversight : Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets and schedules, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Risk Management and Problem Solving : Proactively identify potential risks and challenges, providing solutions to ensure the successful and timely completion of the project.
• Quality Assurance and Control : Oversee the delivery of high-quality design solutions, ensuring all work meets the company's standards and client expectations, and resolving any issues related to design or construction.
• Vendor and Contractor Negotiations : Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers, negotiating contracts, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high standards of service.
• Stakeholder Communication and Reporting : Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients, internal teams, contractors, and consultants, providing regular project updates and progress reports.
• Process Improvement and Innovation : Continuously evaluate and refine project management processes, looking for opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance client satisfaction.
