Job Brief :

As a Deal Lead at our organization, you'll take charge of supporting our business and portfolio management endeavors. Your primary responsibilities will involve partnering with the business team to assess potential ventures, conduct thorough due diligence, and oversee portfolio companies. This role demands a keen eye for analysis, financial expertise, and a profound grasp of the startup landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Due Diligence :

  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on prospective portfolio companies, including financial scrutiny, market analysis, and risk evaluation.
  • Prepare detailed business memos and presentations for review by the business committee.

2. Financial Analysis :

  • Assess the financial health and future projections of startups to ascertain their creditworthiness.
  • Develop and analyze financial models to gauge potential business returns.
  • 3. Portfolio Management :

  • Aid in overseeing the current portfolio of businesses, monitoring their financial performance, and ensuring adherence to loan agreements.
  • Collaborate with portfolio companies to offer support and guidance as necessary.
  • 4. Risk Assessment :

  • Evaluate and manage the various risks associated with the portfolio, encompassing market, credit, and operational risks.
  • Propose strategies to mitigate risks and improve portfolio performance.
  • 5. Reporting and Compliance :

  • Generate regular reports on business performance and adherence to company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards across all business operations.
  • 6. Market Research :

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on thorough market research.
  • Requirements and Skills :

  • Master's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field such as CA.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in NBFC, business banking, Fintech, etc.
  • Proficient in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Familiarity with the startup ecosystem.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized approach to work.
