Role Overview
The Cluster Manager – Admissions & Outreach will be responsible for driving student admissions and managing outreach activities within assigned regions. The role involves leading a team of counselors, executing outreach strategies, building partnerships with schools / colleges, and ensuring admissions targets are met. The ideal candidate will bring strong people management, networking, and communication skills with a proven track record in higher education admissions and outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions Management :
- Achieve admissions and enrollment targets for allocated programs and regions.
- Supervise and support a team of admission counselors in handling inquiries, counseling students, and ensuring application-to-enrollment conversions.
- Monitor and report on admissions performance using data-driven insights.
Outreach & Relationship Building :
Plan and execute outreach activities such as school visits, education fairs, seminars, and events.Develop and sustain partnerships with schools, junior colleges, coaching centers, and education consultants.Represent the University at regional and national forums to build brand visibility.Team Leadership & Training :
Lead, mentor, and motivate a cluster team to achieve admissions objectives.Provide training and guidance on counseling, student engagement, and admissions systems.Ensure strong coordination between outreach and admissions functions.Process & Compliance :
Ensure admissions processes are followed as per university guidelines and regulatory requirements.Contribute feedback to improve admissions systems and outreach strategies.Maintain accurate records of outreach and admissions activities for reporting and compliance.Key Skills & Competencies :
Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.Proven ability to meet admissions targets and build partnerships.Good understanding of higher education trends and student recruitment strategies.Proficiency in CRM / ERP admissions tools and data-driven decision-making.Willingness to travel extensively for outreach and engagement activities.Qualification & Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s / MBA preferred).Minimum 5+ years of experience in admissions, outreach, or student recruitment.Experience in managing teams and handling multiple regions / clusters preferred.Date : 25-09-2025
