Position : UI / UX Team Lead
As a UI / UX Team Lead at WanderOn, you'll be responsible for designing seamless and engaging experiences across our digital platforms - including website, mobile app, internal dashboards, and other travel-tech products. You'll take ideas from concept to execution, working on wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that balance user needs with business goals. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, shaping intuitive user journeys, and creating designs that inspire people to travel more.
Job Roles and Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into engaging experiences.
- Design wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web, mobile applications, and dashboards.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve design decisions.
- Contribute to building a scalable design language and ensure consistency in user experience.
- Stay updated with design trends, tools, and best practices to bring fresh ideas to the team.
- Ensure designs are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally effective across devices.
- Collaborate closely with other departments (marketing, operations, content, sales) to ensure design solutions align with business and user goals.
- Take ownership of end-to-end design processes and drive projects from concept to delivery.
Skills & Qualifications Required :
4-6 years of proven experience in UI / UX design, with exposure to web, mobile, and dashboard interfaces.Strong portfolio showcasing UI / UX expertise and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with other design / collaboration tools, including emerging AI-powered workflows.Solid understanding of UX principles, user-centered design methodologies, and responsive design.Familiarity with analytical tools (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar, etc.) to gather behavioral insights and measure design impact.Ability to take ownership and lead design initiatives, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design decisions to stakeholders.Passion for solving complex problems and creating seamless, delightful user experiences.Familiarity with basic front-end technologies (HTML / CSS / JS) is an advantage.Prior experience in travel-tech or a fast-paced product environment is a plus.Show more
