Senior Accounts Officer - Investment Finance

The Senior Accounts Officer – Investment Finance will support the Finance Manager and Senior Investment Accountants in preparing investment accounting reports, financial statements, and audits. This role requires collaboration with auditors, lenders, investors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with IFRS and lender requirements across UK and European property portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting packs, including balance sheet schedules and profit & loss commentary.
• Review and validate workbooks from property accountants, challenge discrepancies, adjust, and post journal entries.
• Conduct monthly consolidations across multi-property portfolios (Student and PRS special purpose vehicles).
• Prepare complete IFRS financial statements, both consolidated and standalone.
• Perform covenant testing for debt, including Loan-to-Value (LTV) and Interest Coverage Ratio (ICR).
