Job descriptionExperience working in Telco / Carrier environments (mobile, security, infrastructure). Strong hands-on experience with Nokia 7750 and Next-Gen Firewalls (Fortigate). Deep knowledge of IP Routing / Switching : ISIS, MPLS, RSVP, TE, Hierarchical QoS, LACP, BGP. Proven ability to produce HLDs, LLDs, technical diagrams, and project documentation. Strong understanding of reliability, availability, longevity, and commercial aspects of network design. Excellent communication skills for risk management, stakeholder updates, and escalation handling. Familiarity with Python & GIT for automation and configuration management. Exposure to F5 LTM / GTM or other load balancing technologies. Knowledge of Mobile 5G technologies.
We're Hiring : Network Design Engineer – Broadband Services
Location : Chennai | Hybrid Role – Mandatory office presence on 1st & 3rd Mondays for Sprint Planning
Experience Required : 8–14 Years

What You’ll Do :
- Author High-Level and Low-Level Design Documents to support Sky’s network infrastructure.
- Own software / hardware selection, perform bug scrubs, security assessments, and collaborate with Test & Delivery teams.
- Drive platform improvements, enable automation, and implement scalable DevOps solutions.
- Design carrier-grade network solutions aligned with Sky’s standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit business and technical requirements.
- Steer network security roadmap in collaboration with strategic technology partners.
