Key Responsibilities -
In-Process Quality Control
- Inspect raw materials (active materials, binders, solvents, collectors) and verify certificates.
- Monitor slurry mixing (speed, time, temperature, viscosity) and test solid content, pH, homogeneity.
- Check coating thickness, uniformity, adhesion; inspect defects (pinholes, uneven coating, delamination).
- Verify drying time, temperature, humidity; conduct residual solvent testing.
- Monitor calendared electrode density, porosity, thickness; inspect cracks / particle detachment.
- Inspect slitting accuracy, burrs, edge cracks, contamination.
- Ensure moisture-controlled electrode storage (KF moisture testing).
- Detect defects early, provide real-time feedback, and halt production when needed.
- Maintain traceability of parameters, inspection results, and batch data.
- Validate and approve mixing, coating, drying, calendaring, and slitting processes.
- Enforce contamination, temperature, and humidity controls; ensure cleanroom compliance.
- Perform SPC (Cp, Cpk), monitor process drift, and implement adjustments.
- Conduct RCA and implement CAPA for recurring defects.
- Ensure calibration and qualification of measurement and processing equipment.
- Maintain and update SOPs, WIs, and support customer / internal audits.
