Qualifications & Experience

• A degree in electrical engineering, preferably with a specialization in power systems, renewable energy and / or sustainable energy technology.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the areas of Renewable Energy Systems like Solar PV, Battery Storage, Wind Energy Systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in working on (conceptual) designs, simulation and / or deployment of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System)
• Experience with power system simulation tools (PSS®E, DigSilent PowerFactory or similar) and / or microgrid and hybrid energy system simulation tools (Homer Pro, Homer Grid) would be preferred.
• Project management skills and experience in an international, multicultural environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability build client relationships and generate new business opportunities
• Having the following software exposure is preferred
• Homer Pro
• Homer Grid
• PSSE
• DigSilent, PowerFactory
• ETAP
• MATLAB
• PSCAD
