Land Acquisition and Site Development

• Identify suitable land parcels for greenfield project development in coordination with the BD / PD team
• Lead preliminary due diligence and risk assessment of land status
• Support techno-commercial due diligence with BD / PD teams during site evaluation and bidding
• Ensure land acquisition aligns with project budgets and timelines
• Manage contracting and coordination with land aggregators / developers, in consultation with legal and BD teams
• Supervise site demarcation in coordination with project development
• Ensure timely procurement of land documents from relevant stakeholders for legal due diligence
• Collaborate with legal for finalization of purchase, lease, mutation, and transfer documentation
• Maintain accurate land title records for pooling substations, EHV lines, project offices, and access roads
• Approve work completion certificates as per contract milestones and manage land-related payments
• Ensure smooth land possession and handover to project teams to facilitate timely construction
