Principal Engineer - Land Development

Responsibilities

• Managing & leading grading design packages from small to large-scale projects
• Managing design team members ranging from Graduate to Seniors in project delivery
• Leading grading design from Concept to Detailed Design complying all requirements
• Ensuring project technicalities, project budget & project quality is met
• Responsible for Individual & Team Members utilization requirement
• Responsible for meeting all business KPI's, annual team budget & growth
• Responsible for ensuring all project & team meet Audit & Policy Compliance
• Responsible for Close Coordination & getting consistent workload from Canada team
• Should posses strong communication, technical & Interpersonal skills
• Responsible for Project detail design milestones and schedules, staffing schedules, man-hour estimates, budget management and be part of Audit
• Act as Trouble Shooter with strong solid understanding of the engineering fundamentals related to land development, grading, roads, hydrology, hydraulics and modeling
• Complete project with satisfaction of client, simultaneously ensuring that WSP's HS&E, quality, financial, risk management; business and policy expectations are met
• Supervise sophisticated & complicated designs and calculations in accordance with established standards and software
• Supervise engineering reports, studies, calculations and checks drawings
