Developer - IT

Description

Summary : The “ Developer - IT will be based in Chennai reporting to Manager What a typical day looks like : 1.Responsible for implementing EDI / API Business transactions for Flex's Business Partners.

2.Coordinate, Configure and execute EDI / API testing with partners.

3.Work with internal / external IT & Business stakeholders for EDI / API implementation and deployments.

4.Provides technical L3 / L2 support to the relevant Support teams as and when necessary.

5.Regular work assignments includes implementing, troubleshooting, debugging, analyzing map service issues, failures etc.

6.Submit progress report to higher management on requirement basis.

7.Responsible for any technical or functional project documentation.

8.Advises management about the best methods, solutions and technologies.

9.Endorses and complies with all legal regulations, specific internal instructions and their implementation measures.

10.Complies with Organization's practices and policies, security and emergency procedures aligned with the Job. The experience we’re looking to add to our team : 1.Should have good supply chain knowledge on transaction like Purchase order, Order response, Order change, Forecast, shipment advice, Invoice.

2.Must have development / implementation experience with Global EDI standards like X12, EDIFACT, RN etc. Data formats : XML, Json, Csv, Flat file etc.

3.Must have experience at least one of the integration suit ie IBM Web Method, Mulesoft, Dell Boomi, Gentran, See Burger (Desirable WebMethod ).

4.Good Knowledge of various connectivity solutions (VAN, AS2, SFTP etc.)

5.Good ERP Knowledge in Procurement and Finance modules (Desirable Baan V / Infor LN / SAP HANA)

6.Ability to analyze and interpret technical procedures or documents.

7.Ability to develop reports and process manuals.

8.Proficiency in English and Good communication skills is must.

9.Problem-solving skills, Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS office package. What you’ll receive for the great work you provide :
