About the role :
Indulge Creamery is a new-age, premium ice cream-focused café opening soon in Bandra, Mumbai.
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Head Chef to take charge of food operations, menu execution, team training, and quality control.
This is a hands-on kitchen leadership role (no gas, all-electric), with the opportunity to helm one of the city’s most exciting dessert and coffee destinations.
Key responsibilities :
Oversee daily kitchen and food production, ensuring consistency
Lead the entire outlet team in executing a premium café menu (Eggs, breakfast, bowls, sandwiches, ice cream-based desserts)
Drive the gourmet burgers and sandwich narrative by introducing, updating, and perfecting recipes—with particular strength in European, Continental, and Mediterranean cuisine
Collaborate closely with consulting chefs, taking an active role in menu R&D and trials, recipe development, and plating
Spearhead the outlet’s sundae program—leading creative ideation and execution around ice cream-based desserts
Maintain the highest hygiene, food safety, and quality standards
Co-ordinate with storekeeper and manage ordering, stock, and kitchen administration
Train and motivate team members for service excellence
Innovate with seasonal, ice cream-driven, and cafe-forward food concepts
Requirements :
Strong experience (minimum 8 years as CDP / Sous / Head Chef; QSR, café or similar background)
Proven skills in electric / induction cooking, fryer, and live counter service
Expertise in gourmet sandwiches, burgers, and modern café cuisine (European / Continental / Mediterranean focus essential)
Proven record in team management and kitchen SOP
Energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about modern desserts, cafe food, and ingredient-driven cooking
Mumbai / Bandra-based or ready to relocate preferred
Salary up to ₹80,000 / month depending on experience (for head chef )
