Experience Required : 2- 5 years in sales, including experience selling SAAS products in India and working with distributors and resellers.
Role Overview :
- The Business development Associate will be responsible for managing and driving sales growth of SAAS products in India.
- This is a field-based role that involves extensive travel to build relationships with clients and resellers, identify new market opportunities, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Based in Central Bangalore, the position requires on-site client interactions, conducting product demonstrations, and ensuring successful execution of sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales Development :
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.Identify and pursue new business opportunities in targeted regions within India.Build a strong sales pipeline by engaging with potential clients and distributors.2. Client and Distributor Management :
Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and distributors.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction.Negotiate and finalize contracts with partners.3. Market Research and Analysis :
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements in India.Provide insights and recommendations to refine sales strategies and product offerings.Stay updated on relevant trade regulations and compliance requirements.4.
Product Demonstrations and Presentations :
Conduct on-site and virtual product demonstrations tailored to the needs of clients.Develop compelling sales presentations to showcase product value and benefits.Collaborate with marketing teams to create region-specific promotional materials.5. Travel and Field Engagement :
Travel extensively within India to meet clients, distributors, and resellers.Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders through regular face-to-face interactions.6. Reporting and CRM Management :
Use CRM tools to manage leads, track sales activities, and analyse performance metrics.Prepare and present sales reports to the management team, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and sales activities.7. Collaboration and Strategy Development :
Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of sales orders.Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for expanding markets in India.Provide feedback to product teams on client requirements and preferences.Required Skills and Qualifications :
Educational Background : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Experience :
2-5 years of experience in sales, including selling SaaS products in India.Proven track record of achieving sales targets.Sales Skills :
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.Technical Proficiency : Familiarity with CRM tools for managing sales pipelines and client data.Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English and any regional languages (preferred).Travel Readiness : Willingness to travel and meet clients.Key Competencies :
