Job Description : Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
About the Company : ZeTheta Algorithms Private Limited is a pioneering FinTech start-up developing innovative AI-powered tools and platforms through student ecosystem who can leverage LLMs for development cycle. At the same time, we want to give back to the society and revolutionise how students and fresh graduates gain practical experience in financial markets, technology and other industry verticals through our comprehensive work bridge platform.
In a short span of just 6 months from launch we have been approached by around 600,000 students and around 1,000 colleges globally.
About the Role : The Chief Technology Officer will be a CXO level hire and lead our technical vision and oversee all technology development initiatives both inhouse ideas and assist an evergrowing simulated training and learning requirement by imparting work experiences to students and fresh graduates to innovate and research with ultimate objective of democratizing information technology for non-coders on a massive scale (more than 100,000+ students). Thereby managing a dynamic team of student interns and fresh graduates while building scalable tech platforms. This role combines strategic technology leadership with hands-on mentorship of emerging talent. The role demands significant energy, enthusiasm and passion to innovate and help the community.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership & Strategy :
- Define and execute the overall technology roadmap for our large number of Tech platforms and convert innovative ideas to platforms from scratch with high speed using LLMs.
- Architect scalable systems supporting 100,000+ concurrent users which may exceed 1 mln in medium term, across multiple simulated training and learning modules for innovation and research.
- Oversee integration of blockchain-based certification systems and secure authentication frameworks
- Drive innovation in through emerging technologies
Team Management & Mentorship :
Lead, mentor, and develop a teams of student interns and fresh graduatesDesign structured learning programs that transform interns into skilled developersEstablish coding standards, development processes, and quality assurance protocolsCreate internship curricula that align with real product development needsBuild a culture of innovation, learning, and technical excellenceProduct Development Oversight :
Manage end-to-end development of multiple AI tools and simulations.Oversee development of responsive web platforms using modern frameworks (React.js, Node.js, Python)Lead API development and third-party integrations for financial data and AI servicesEnsure robust data architecture using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and cloud solutionsDrive development of mobile-responsive applications and progressive web appsInfrastructure & Operations :
Design and implement DevOps practices and CI / CD pipelinesEnsure platform security, data privacy, and regulatory complianceOptimize application performance and scalabilityManage cloud infrastructure costs and resource allocationEstablish monitoring, logging, and incident response protocolsStakeholder Collaboration :
Work closely with founders on product strategy and business developmentCollaborate with content teams to integrate educational materials with technologyCoordinate with business development for client integration requirementsPresent technical progress and roadmaps to investors and board membersQualifications :
Essential Requirements :
Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field5-8 years of technology leadership experience, preferably in FinTech or EdTechProven experience managing and mentoring junior developers and internsStrong expertise in full-stack development (Python, React.js, Node.js)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern DevOps practicesUnderstanding of financial markets, investment concepts, and regulatory requirementsExcellent communication skills for technical mentorship and stakeholder managementPreferred Qualifications :
