Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Migration Delivery Lead to oversee the end-to-end execution of a large-scale migration program involving applications, infrastructure, or data across hybrid environments. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional delivery teams of up to 65 resources, ensuring alignment with project timelines, governance frameworks, and client expectations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong program governance, stakeholder management, and runbook-driven execution expertise, with experience in complex enterprise migrations (e.g., data center, core banking, platform modernization, etc.).
Key Responsibilities :
Program & Delivery Management :
- Own and drive the end-to-end migration execution strategy and delivery roadmap in conjunction with the Stream lead in Zurich.
- Coordinate delivery across multiple workstreams : application, infrastructure, testing, data, and cutover.
- Build and maintain detailed migration runbooks, cutover plans, and rollback strategies.
- Track and report progress against milestones, risks, and dependencies.
Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor, and coordinate a cross-functional team of 60-65 members, including team leads, engineers, testers, analysts, and cutover coordinators.Define team structure, resource allocation, and capacity planning based on project phases.Act as the primary escalation point for internal teams and client stakeholders in India.Engage with global program managers, sponsors, and business users to ensure delivery alignment.Governance & Reporting :
Ensure daily stand-ups are held , migration control rooms, and checkpoint meetings are setup.Report delays / issues / risks to Stream lead and provide options for mitigation.Publish executive dashboards and KPIs on progress, issues, and blockers.Support audits, compliance requirements, and post-migration validations.Required Skills & Experience :
12+ years of experience in IT delivery, with 5+ years in migration programs.Proven track record of leading large teams (50+ people) in a matrixed or distributed model.Strong experience with enterprise migrations (e.g., cloud, core banking, platform upgrades, infra refresh).Hands-on knowledge of cutover planning, runbook execution, and rehearsal management.Familiarity with migration & cutover tools like Informatica, Cutover, ServiceNow, Iceflo, or custom orchestration tools is a plus.Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work across time zones with global clients (EU, APAC).PMP / ITIL / Prince2 / Agile certifications are a plus.Preferred Background :
Experience in Finance SectorFamiliarity with Temenos Transact, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms in migration context is an advantage.Experience in managing third-party vendors or SI partners.Travel : Occasional domestic / international travel may be required.
