The Role
Infrastructure Specialists at Kyndryl are project-based subject matter experts in all things infrastructure – good at providing analysis, documenting and diagraming work for hand-off, offering timely solutions, and generally 'figuring it out.' This is a hands-on role where your feel for the interaction between a system and its environment will be invaluable to every one of your clients.
The Responsibilities also includes :
- Administration & configuration of middleware products like IBM MQ, IIB V10 and IBM DataPower Gateway SOA appliances (ESB).
- Install and configure IBM MQ, IIB on Unix and Windows based environments.
- Good in DataPower administration and setup.
- Production, non-production support & Release Deployments.
- Knowledge sharing to the team members.
- Policies, process, procedures : Excellent problem solving and analytical skill.
- Reporting : Provide progress / ad-hoc reporting to all stakeholders & line managers.
- Internal Control assignments : Ability to work on multiple issues / systems simultaneously and flexible to work on on-call and weekend support and implementation activities.
- Act as a single point of contact for Project Managers where allocated as a representative of the EAI / ESB Projects team.
- Provide a guaranteed 2nd and 3rd level support service for all MQ / IIB & DataPower related incidents in the event of failure or other subsystem-related problems
- Management of the variety of test infrastructure the team builds and supports to ensure that it continues to provide a high level of service, including awareness and adherence to effective risk management.
- Apply technical knowledge to resolve a range of incidents / problems within a project context in a timely manner to reduce delays to projects.
- Install, configure, and maintain IIB V10 & ACE V11.
- Implemented the clustering of queue managers to achieve work load balancing and to reduce system administration
- Creation of Broker and its Components on AIX, LINUX and windows environments.
- Creating Execution groups and Broker Topologies.
- Created MQ Queues and Channels required for the Application
- Implementation of Firmware Upgrades
- Trouble-shooting DataPower domain application issues (Probe and PCAP analysis)

Required Technical and Professional Experience
Minimum 6+ years of experience in Administration & configuration of middleware products like IBM MQ, IIB V10 and IBM DataPower & API Connect.Troubleshoot & Performance tuning in all the above technologies.Good understanding in ITIL processExperience in configuring & creating components of Data Power appliance such as Web Service Proxy, Multi-Protocol Gateway, XML Firewall.Good knowledge in MQ clustering & Distributed queueing.Good knowledge in MQ client & server communication.Preferred Technical and Professional ExperienceExceptional judgment and decision-making abilitiesFamiliar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and proceduresKnowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and modelsLogic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problemsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detailSkills Required
