What you ll do :
- Create the roadmap and strategy for RGF s Her Punjab pillar that enables high social impact on the ground with clear objectives based on a shared vision of desired outcomes in the domains of women s economic empowerment, health, and other related areas
- Create and design programmes to implement the strategy, leading to measurable change in the status of women in the state of Punjab, with emphasis on their financial self-reliance, health and hygiene issues and access to pertinent social schemes
- Project Management - structure, plan, coordinate, and monitor the implementation of project activities in line with the roadmap and AOP including building teams, management of people, budgets, and contracts
- Facilitate an ecosystem to equip, enable and upskill rural women to support
- themselves by creating sustainable livelihoods. Deploy end-to-end sustainable and scalable business model(s), run by women as individuals and / or collectives
- Collaborate and create synergies with pertinent private, corporate and government organizations as well as internal / external stakeholders to augment scope and impact of programs and initiatives
- Ensure capacity building and growth of teams through guidance, mentoring and enabling a supportive work environment
- Contribute towards the organizations overall thought leadership by strengthening systems & processes
- Leverage subject matter expertise to provide supervision, guidance, and technical leadership to team members on leading practices and trends to incorporate this knowledge into project proposals and the evolution of new programs / initiatives
- Assess the impact of programs and initiative to incessantly improve process and outcomes based on feedback and learning. Work with Marketing and Fundraising teams to showcase the program and milestones to raise funds for the initiative
Skills & Qualifications -
Professional degree in Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Public Policy, Business or equivalent with 12 - 15 years of relevant experience in the social impact sector or in leading consulting / advisory engagements, with at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership roleIn-depth knowledge of gender and social inclusion issues with demonstratedexpertise in GESI (gender equality & social inclusion) mainstreaming in the social impact and development sectorKnowledge of the development landscape in India and the world, including an indepth awareness of the roles of various stakeholders (government, academia, institutions, foundations, non-profit and corporate organizations).Experience in consulting, problem-solving, managing teams, creating knowledge products, ecosystem engagement, and policyAbility to work at and navigate all levels of an organization, driving decisions and direction through influence, including executive and senior business stakeholdersHighly organized with strong project management skills, interpersonal skills, and a professional presence with the ability to quickly establish personal credibilityAble to think of the Big Picture while you pay close attention to the details and synthesize them to put them into a more global contextAbility to work autonomously to investigate and present solutions that solve complex problems quickly and effectively in a fast-paced, result-driven environmentProven ability to build programs and teams from scratch and taking them to scaleOutstanding leadership capabilities, ability to communicate a compelling vision and drive results while developing a strong teamAble to collaborate with and adapt to the multi-cultural working environment and with diverse national and international partnersAble and ready to commute to villages.Skills Required
