Vice President of Engineering - Java / AWS

Job Summary :

We are seeking a strategic and technically sound Vice President of Engineering to lead our engineering teams and drive the development and delivery of cutting-edge, scalable, and secure software solutions using Java and AWS technologies.

This leadership role requires strong technical expertise, people management skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide technical leadership and direction across all engineering functions.
• Architect and oversee the development of scalable and high-performing Java-based applications hosted on AWS.
• Lead the design and implementation of modern cloud-native solutions using AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.
• Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of engineers, team leads, and engineering managers.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure timely delivery of projects and initiatives.
• Define and implement best practices for code quality, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Drive the adoption of agile methodologies, continuous integration, and DevOps practices.
• Monitor technology trends and continuously assess opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Own the engineering roadmap and ensure alignment with business goals.
