Domestic Assistant - Bethanie Waters

Bethanie is a leading not for profit aged care provider based in Western Australia. We are currently seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join the team providing support services at Bethanie Waters Aged Care Home located in Port Kennedy . Co-located with a retirement village, Bethanie Waters is one of our larger sites with 160 beds and provides support for people who need 24 hour care, including those with high care needs and dementia.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in cleaning ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment, and be of a friendly nature, as interaction with our residents is core to our culture.

The successful applicant will form part of our casual pool who provide relief across both morning and afternoon shifts, as well as on weekends and public holidays. You may also have the opportunity to be trained in and work across the roles of Kitchen Hand and Laundry Assistant.

About You

• Previous experience working as a Domestic Assistant / Cleaner, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment
• Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
• Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one)
