Role : SAP Manufacturing Consultant (SAP PP & PPDS)

Location : Pune / Nagpur, MH - Onsite

Job Type : Full-time

Working Hours : 6 : 30 PM to 3 : 30 AM IST (US EST Time Zone)

Employment : Permanent position with Quantum, with the possibility of a future H1B visa sponsorship for an onsite role.

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced SAP Manufacturing Consultant with a strong background in SAP Production Planning (PP) and Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS). The ideal candidate will have 7 to 8 years of experience and a proven track record of successfully implementing and migrating SAP S / 4HANA solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Business Analysis & Solution Design : Translate complex business requirements into effective SAP S / 4HANA solutions.
• SAP PPDS Configuration : Customize and configure the SAP PPDS module, including master data such as Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings, as well as demand, resource, and capacity planning.
• System Integration : Configure and manage SAP integration scenarios with other modules and third-party systems.
• Testing & Quality Assurance : Develop and execute end-to-end test scenarios to ensure system functionality and reliability.
• Communication & Collaboration : Work directly with end-users and third-party teams to provide support and gather Skills & Experience :
• 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP Manufacturing (PP & PPDS).
• 1 to 2 full-cycle implementations / migrations of SAP S / 4HANA.
• Deep knowledge of embedded PPDS capabilities within S / 4HANA for real-time planning.
• Expertise in Finite Capacity Scheduling to create realistic production schedules.
• Experience in using Optimization techniques within PPDS to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Proficiency with planning tools such as the detailed scheduling planning board and product planning table.
• Excellent communication skills with experience working directly with stakeholders.
• Willingness to work in the US EST time zone (6 : 30 PM to 3 : 30 AM IST).
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is a significant advantage.
