Role Overview
As a Technology Lead, you will architect, design, and guide the development of high-
volume, distributed, event-driven microservices. You will lead engineering initiatives that
power our platform's scalability, resiliency, and compliance capabilities, working closely
with product and operations to deliver secure, reliable, and compliant solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect & Design highly scalable, event-driven microservices for data compliance
workflows.
Lead Technical Delivery — own end-to-end system design, from proof-of-conceptto production.
Drive Cloud-Native Adoption — leverage containerization, orchestration, and cloudservices (AWS / Azure).
Implement Observability — design logging, monitoring, and tracing solutions (e.g.,ELK, Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
Champion SRE Practices — build resilience, automate operational processes, andensure platform SLAs.
Optimize Data Storage — design and manage NoSQL database usage (MongoDB,Cassandra, or DynamoDB).
Mentor Engineers — foster technical excellence, guide architectural decisions, andlead by example.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally — partner with product, compliance, andinfrastructure teams to align on business goals.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years in atechnical leadership role.
Proven track record in building distributed, event-driven, microservices-basedapplications in Java.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS) and cloud-native architectures.Experience in CI / CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.Expertise in observability tools and concepts — metrics, logs, traces, dashboards.Solid grasp of SRE principles — incident management, chaos engineering, capacityplanning.
Hands-on with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).Strong expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) for large-scale, complex systems.Experience in Platform Engineering — building reusable, scalable, and self-serviceinfrastructure capabilities for multiple teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make trade-offs in architecture anddesign.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical topics todiverse audiences.
Good to Have
Experience in data governance, compliance, or security domains.Knowledge of stream processing frameworks (Kafka Streams, Flink, SparkStreaming).
