Job Title : Deputy General Manager – Franchise Development
Locations : Indore, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Pune
Role Summary :
MedPlus is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in Retail Operations, Sales, or Business Development. The ideal candidate will play a key role in expanding the MedPlus Franchise Network by onboarding existing local pharmacy stores as MedPlus Franchise partners across the assigned regions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and evaluate potential local pharmacies for MedPlus franchise conversion, as well as onboard new franchise partners to drive network expansion.
- Engage with store owners to present the MedPlus franchise model and value proposition.
- Conduct financial feasibility assessments and finalize franchise agreements.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, Projects, Legal, Finance, and Supply Chain) to ensure seamless franchise onboarding and setup.
- Track and report progress against franchise acquisition and activation targets.
- Ensure compliance with MedPlus brand and operational standards post-launch.
- Build long-term partnerships to strengthen MedPlus presence in the local markets.
Candidate Profile :
MBA / PGDM from IIMs (qualified from Top 20 IIMs preferred)Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Retail Operations, Sales, or Business Development.Strong business acumen and negotiation capabilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Self-motivated, result-driven, and willing to travel extensively.Why Join Us :
