Job descriptionMinimum 10+ years of experience in the Equity Market. At least 4 years in a leadership or managerial role handling sales & business development. Minimum 15 team members (Relationship Managers & Sales Executives). Develop and implement strategies to achieve equity sales and revenue targets in the assigned area. Drive cross-selling of third-party products to both new and existing clients. Identify, onboard, and nurture new business opportunities across institutional and retail investors. Track market trends and competitor activities to refine sales and growth strategies. Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Relationship Managers & Sales Executives. Set performance goals, track progress, and provide regular coaching & feedback. Build a performance-driven culture through effective leadership and motivation. Build and maintain strong relationships with high-value clients, stakeholders, and partners. Offer customized investment solutions aligned with client needs & risk appetite. Ensure high client satisfaction, retention, and long-term engagement. Ensure strict compliance with organizational policies, regulatory frameworks, and ethical standards. Supervise equity trading, portfolio management, and reporting operations. Mitigate risks by adhering to compliance and governance guidelines. Analyze market movements, economic developments, and investor sentiments for business insights. Collaborate with research teams to deliver timely market updates & reports. Partner with marketing teams to design and roll out effective equity product campaigns. Prepare & present performance dashboards, sales forecasts, and business strategies to management. Utilize data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies and improve revenue outcomes. In-depth knowledge of equity markets, financial products, and investment strategies. Strong leadership & people management skills with proven track record of managing large teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to drive business growth through innovative strategies.
