We are looking for a motivated and performance-driven Business Development Manager to grow our Background Verification (BGV) vertical. The role involves identifying prospects, developing strong client relationships, and converting leads into business across corporate HR, compliance, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive new business acquisition for BGV Services, BGV Aggregator Solutions.
- Identify and approach potential corporate clients through cold calling, networking, and digital channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with HR, Compliance, and Procurement heads across industries.
- Customize and pitch solutions based on the client's workforce verification needs.
- Schedule and conduct product demos, presentations, and negotiations.
- Generate, submit, and follow up on proposals and pricing agreements.
- Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and client delivery.
- Track sales pipeline using CRM tools and prepare regular reporting for leadership.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and client preferences in BGV and HR services.
Key Requirements :
4–6 years of experience in B2B Sales / Business Development , preferably in :Background Verification ServicesGood understanding of employee screening processes (employment, education, criminal, address verification, etc.)Strong networking and relationship-building skills with corporate HR and operations decision-makersExcellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skillsProficiency in MS Office and CRM toolsSelf-motivated with a target-driven approachPreferred Qualifications :
Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales / Marketing is a plus)Prior experience in working with BGV vendors , aggregators will be a strong advantage.Skills Required
