About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic HR Generalist with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment (70%) while also managing core HR generalist functions (30%) that support employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development.
The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in IT hiring , coupled with exposure to HR operations, policies, and employee lifecycle management.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition (70%)
- Own the full recruitment cycle : sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing candidates for IT and business roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand requirements, define job descriptions, and create effective sourcing strategies.
- Build and manage a strong candidate pipeline using job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
- Ensure smooth coordination of interviews, assessments, and feedback loops.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to position the company as an employer of choice in the IT sector.
- Track and report recruitment metrics (time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance, etc.).
HR Generalist Functions (30%)
Support onboarding and induction processes to ensure a seamless new hire experience.Administer HR policies, maintain compliance with labor laws, and manage employee records.Assist in performance management cycles, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.Provide HR support in areas such as leave management, payroll coordination, and grievance handling.Partner with leadership on culture-building and people initiatives.Key Requirements
6+ years of experience in core IT hiring (software engineers, developers, QA, DevOps, product roles, etc.).Proven track record in successfully closing mid to senior-level roles within the IT industry.Strong knowledge of sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and HR systems.Understanding of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance requirements.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and scaling environment.Nice to Have
Prior experience in a startup or high-growth IT services / product company.Exposure to global hiring (US, Australia, Europe) in addition to Indian IT talent markets.Certification in HR / Recruitment or related areas.Skills Required
