Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Java Application Support Engineer with a strong background in Java and production support environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability, performance, and availability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide Level 2 / 3 application support for Java-based enterprise applications.
• Perform root cause analysis, issue resolution, and incident management.
• Monitor application performance and proactively address potential issues.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.
• Manage and execute deployments using automation tools.
• Support in job scheduling, monitoring, and reporting using tools like Autosys / Control-M .
• Work with observability tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK, Grafana ) to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
• Document processes and resolutions as part of knowledge management.
• Participate in on-call rotations and handle high-severity incidents as required.
