Job descriptionDesigning and developing electrical substation systems by focusing on safety, economy, reliability, sustainability, and quality. Preparation, review, and approval of engineering documents as per relevant codes / standards / technical specification for Electrical substations. Detail know-how for various standards, guidelines, and practices for Electrical engineering requirement for substation. Must be well versed with design and detailing software's such as AutoCAD, ETAP, DiaLux etc. Shall be able to independently design & detail the Electrical works related to substations. Must be able to provide Electrical BOQ and preparation of Layout / SLD / RFQ. Must be able to understand the Electrical Layout and SLD. Must have advanced understanding about electrical equipment. Timely completion of Electrical engineering activities for substations. Preparing Electrical primary design and BOQ for tendering purpose with innovative approach of optimizations for successful bidding. Basic knowledge of secondary engineering. Knowledge of interface / system integration engineering between primary, primary and secondary electrical engineering. Review of type test reports, routine test reports of primary substation electrical engineering. Perform manual voltage drop, short circuit and motor starting calculations to check ETAP reports. Good knowledge of electrical construction methods and materials Frequent visit to site to sort out the problems related to engineering. Create, maintain, track, and update the engineering documents as per schedule. Working with a team. Smooth communication with various stake holders. BE / B. Tech – Electrical, M. Tech – Will be an additional advantage.

Job Objective :
- PROJECT ENGINEERING : Review of designs & drawings related to substation (SS).
- PREBID ENGINEERING : Preparation of detailed BOQ along with technical specification with innovative approach of optimizations for successful bidding for upcoming project.
- O & M Engineering : Provide Technical support to O & M team for successfully running the SS during operation and maintenance.
