Senior Executive – Accounts & Finance

Location : Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities :

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage Zoho Books for all accounting activities — invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, etc.) and reconciliation with books.
• Manage TDS computations, deductions, payments, and quarterly return filing (Form 26Q, 24Q, etc.).
• Prepare and maintain monthly MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries for management review.
• Coordinate with external auditors during statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Liaise with vendors, clients, and banks for financial matters and transaction settlements.

Required Skills & Competencies :

• Strong working knowledge of Zoho Books (mandatory).
• Thorough understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax provisions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications :

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or CA (Inter) qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in accounting, GST, and TDS.
• Prior experience in using Zoho Books is essential.
