Role Overview :
The Relationship Manager is responsible for revenue generation, client acquisition, credit appraisal, and overall portfolio management. The role includes handling team performance, ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and actively participating in market research and product communication strategies to meet the bank's business objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Revenue Generation & Team Handling
- Achieve business targets in terms of earnings, assets, liabilities, and credit quality as per agreed budgets
- Lead the team towards achieving performance goals and ensure alignment with the bank's objectives
- Monitor and drive productivity, profitability, and cross-functional coordination
Relationship Management
Acquire new clients by assessing their financial needs and offering appropriate banking solutionsManage end-to-end client relationships including deal structuring, documentation, and closureOptimize the risk-reward balance in each relationship by understanding client requirements and offering tailored solutionsCredit Appraisal & Risk Management
Evaluate financial proposals through in-depth analysis of income statements, balance sheets, cash flows, and financial ratiosAnalyze management and industry risks while ensuring compliance with risk policiesAdhere to risk mitigation protocols and provide necessary documentation for audits and internal reviewsCommunication & Product Positioning
