Job description

Position Title : Strategic Account Manager

Location : Bangalore / Hyderabad

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned :

  • Develop and maintain Senior / C-Suite level relationships with strategic partners, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
  • Drive portfolio management strategies in collaboration with Business Units to expand and protect market share, optimize pricing, and establish long-term contractual agreements and relationships with clients and partners.
  • Understand assigned accounts’ strategic priorities and design value-added programs accordingly.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement business plans to achieve strategic business targets.
  • Identify and cultivate ongoing mutual opportunities for sales growth with key strategic accounts.

Sales Professional Career Stream :

Typically individual contributors with direct sales responsibilities. May guide lower-level sales professionals or manage sales processes and / or accounts involving multiple team members. Focuses on establishing and maintaining customer relationships, developing new business, implementing sales strategies, and closing deals.

Differentiating Factors :

  • Autonomy : Recognized sales expert managing large accounts with minimal oversight. Engages with senior executives and develops customized solutions based on customer needs.
  • Organizational Impact : Contributes directly to achieving sales targets and executing growth strategies by expanding existing accounts, developing new markets, and building a strategic client base.
  • Innovation and Complexity : Improves sales processes and tools to enhance performance, recommends strategic changes, and exercises sound judgment in achieving sales objectives
