This is not a Product Manager hiring.
We are looking for an Head of Product Implementation to perform a lead role in managing the implementation projects & teams of our enterprise software products. The role will be part of professional services set-up in an Insurtech product organisation. You will take ownership for building implementation teams and delivering implementations of our advanced technology products in the global insurance and reinsurance customers. This is a mix of leadership and hands-on role in fast paced and agile environment.
Setting up and Leading Product Implementations :
- Create implementation framework for managing delivery of implementation projects
- Lead client implementation, service delivery providing management and oversight of implementation projects and staffing including project assignments, capacity planning, project profitability and delivery governance
- Maintains complete control on product implementation schedule, budget and risk / issues
- Identify project risks early and assist by providing prudent and timely recommendations for risk avoidance
- Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
- Communicates effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
- Oversee and execute process improvements and the development of policies, procedures, methods, and tools in support of delivery
- Actively drive SI partnership and competency development of the product implementation
- Work with the finance and PMO to support customer invoicing and change management
Leadership & Strategic Involvement :

20+ years’ experience in implementing technology products, preferably within Insurance industryTechnology focussed background with application, data, cloud, security etc.Clear understanding of requirements engineering and product implementation lifecycle processesProven experience of working with Enterprise software implementation and SAAS productsStrong operational, project management and process skillsSolid communication / presentation and negotiation skillsDetailed Understanding of P&C Insurance IndustryA strong work ethic, exhibiting leadership by exampleAbility to adapt to a frequently changing and growing environment, which may result in changed priorities or refined job dutiesLead by example and willing to take on tasks across the implementation lifecycleExcellent leadership and team management skills including the proven ability to recruit, mentor, and motivateAbility to travel (situation and travel rules permitting) to meet customers and partnersHow would you outshine in your current role? BS or MS degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferredExperience in both start-up and corporate environmentsUnderstanding of Cloud based deployment
