Job Opening : Accounts Sales Manager – Automotive Industry

Location : Chennai

Experience : 10 – 15 Years

Compensation : ₹35 – 40 LPA + Benefits

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 Days

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Accounts Sales Manager with a strong background in solution sales for the Automotive Industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial equipment and heavy machinery solutions, along with a strong ability to build and grow key accounts.

This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, strategic sales acumen, and client relationship management to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead solution sales initiatives for clients in the Automotive Industry, focusing on industrial equipment, heavy machinery, and related technologies.
  • Develop and manage strategic customer accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships.
  • Work closely with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and manufacturing companies to identify new opportunities.
  • Provide consultative sales support, tailoring solutions to meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, technical, operations) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Conduct market research on industry trends, competition, and client needs to enhance sales strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals with a focus on value-driven selling.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 10–15 years of proven experience in solution sales within the Automotive Industry / Industrial Equipment / Heavy Machinery sectors.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery solutions, and automotive applications.
  • Excellent client-facing, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in building strong client relationships and closing large deals.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to customer needs.
  • Based in Chennai or willing to relocate immediately.
