ServiceNow Test Manager – Roles & Responsibilities
Experience & Leadership
- Possess 5–7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on the ServiceNow platform.
- Proven track record of leading teams of 4–6 testers , managing performance, mentoring, and ensuring high-quality output.
- Ability to work independently while also guiding and supporting the team.
ServiceNow Platform Expertise
Deep understanding of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, and custom applications.Hands-on experience in test planning, execution, automation, and defect management within the ServiceNow ecosystem.Collaborate with developers, architects, and business analysts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Customer Engagement & Communication
Act as a customer-facing lead , managing all communications related to testing activities, timelines, risks, and issue resolution.Prepare and present test strategies, status reports, defect summaries , and other documentation to stakeholders.Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring alignment with business goals and expectations.Individual Contribution
Be a hands-on test manager , capable of writing and executing test cases, performing defect triage, and contributing to automation efforts.Take ownership of critical testing tasks and support the team during high-pressure phases.Project Delivery & Quality Assurance
Oversee end-to-end testing lifecycle for ServiceNow implementations and upgrades.Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and client requirements.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align testing with overall project objectives.Process Improvement & Governance
Define and implement testing processes, standards, and best practices tailored to ServiceNow projects.Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, tools, and team capabilities.Ensure compliance with organizational and client-specific quality frameworks.
