Major Duties And Responsibilities
Business
Increase business growth in the assigned region, profitability and market share for existing and potential customers through leadership of sales, LS and service functions. Implement business strategies to achieve agreed business outcomes.
To deliver a better health outcome for Customers and patients.
Identify both opportunities & business at risk - Conduct regular Business reviews as a basis for challenging and improving both short and long term strategies & action plans.
Lead senior level negotiations optimizing contractual opportunities which cement long term supply arrangements
Competitor activity reporting
Determine and manage compliance issues on supply contracts,
Contribute to completion of special projects, as agreed.
Sales and Customer Satisfaction
Direct sales activities within nominated range of Accounts
Direct detailed Account analysis and customer, profiling, resulting in accurate and effective Account information maintained by the sales team.
Liaise with and guide Account Managers, optimizing sales opportunities across all areas of the business through effective teamwork and cooperation.
Identify and direct action on tender opportunities through liaison & cooperation with Finance teams.
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through management of relationships, product support and service.
Build relationships and develop loyalty with senior customers and decision makers
Internal Business Processes and People
Management of a range of internal business processes including developing Commercial plans of the region, aligning sales plans to marketing plans, supporting inventory management, forecasting etc.
Actively keep others informed to support effective decision making and actions across organization
Contribute to development of incentives programs for sales.
Develop strong teamwork, cooperation and loyalty to the organization as a whole, through effective leadership
Use every opportunity to institutionalize the principles of effective teamwork within the company
Will be responsible for the development of key talents, their retention and providing opportunities for growth
Ensure the engagement in the team is high and positive
Qualifications
Minimum Education or Equivalent Experience Required / Preferred
MBA from a leading tier-1 business school in India or overseas
Minimum Years Of Related Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required / Preferred
Overall experience : should have an overall experience of 8-12 yrs. Experience in Marketing & Sales preferably in a medical devices industry is a must. Prior experience in people management is also essential for this role
At least 5-8 years of prior experience in Sales & Marketing – Driving sales across the regions.
Strong consumer industry knowledge and experience is preferable
Strategic thinking with superior business judgment and acumen.
