Job Summary :
An experienced Training Manager with 5-6 years of hands-on experience in building and running training programs. The person will oversee product & process training, behavioural & soft skills learning, content creation and management, and end-to-end Learning Management System operations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, excellent communicator in English, who can lead both program design and delivery, as well as manage stakeholders across functions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across departments to identify gaps — for product knowledge, process adherence, soft skills, behaviour, etc.
- Design, develop, and maintain structured training curricula for :
○ Product training (new launches, features, functionality)
○ Process training (standard operating procedures, workflows)
○ Soft skills & behavioural training (communication, leadership, teamwork, conflict resolution, etc.)
Oversee content creation & management, including :○ Drafting course materials, facilitator guides, job aids
○ Creating engaging multimedia / e-learning modules
○ Managing updates / version control for training content
Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) : setting up courses, uploading content, tracking progress and completion, generating reports and dashboards, pushing notifications / reminders.Deliver training sessions (onsite, virtual, hybrid) and facilitate 'Train-the-Trainer' or internal trainer coaching so internal teams can scale training delivery.Develop evaluation metrics : pre- & post-training assessments; feedback surveys; measuring learning outcomes, behaviour change, and business impact. Actively analyze results and refine training programs.Prepare and manage the training calendar : scheduling, ensuring timely delivery of required training sessions (onboarding, refresher, mandatory / safety training).Stakeholder management : collaborate with departments to ensure training aligns with business goals, product roadmaps, process changes, quality targets.Keep abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in L&D (instructional design, adult learning theory, micro-learning, digital tools, authoring tools, etc.).Required Qualifications & Skills :
Experience : 5-6 years in Learning & Development / Training roles, preferably including responsibility for product / process training and content development.Strong hands-on experience with LMS tools (setting up courses, monitoring, reporting, assessments).Excellent English communication skills, both verbal & written.Experience creating content : e-learning modules, assessments, job aids, facilitator materials.Proven ability in soft skills & behavioural training : designing and delivering sessions, measuring effectiveness.Strong project management skills : able to manage multiple training initiatives, set timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams.Analytic ability : set KPIs, track metrics, draw insights and iterate on training designs. Knowledge of Excel / Google Sheet is a must.Preferred :
Bachelor's degree in Business / HR / Education / Communications or related. A Master's degree is a PLUS.Certifications in Training / Instructional Design / Learning & Development (e.g. CPTD, ATD, SHRM-L⁄D etc.).Familiarity with modern content creation tools.Experience with virtual learning platforms, webinars, hybrid training.Experience managing a small team of trainers or L&D support staff.Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence across levels.
