Collections Officer

Job descriptionManage and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely recovery of outstanding payments Contact clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits to discuss and resolve payment issues Negotiate payment terms and settlement plans in accordance with company policies Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communication and collection activities Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile account discrepancies and ensure data accuracy Prepare and present regular reports on collection performance and outstanding accounts Stay updated on industry practices, debt collection regulations, and customer interaction protocols Ensure full compliance with internal collection procedures and external regulatory requirements
