ABAP Architect / Lead / SME

Job description7–9 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience in development and support Expertise in : ABAP Reporting, Dialog Programming, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, Workflow BDC, BAPI, LSMW, Data Dictionary, RFCs, Object-Oriented ABAP ALE / IDoc, EDI, ABAP Proxy, OData Services, XML-based integrations Experience in developing and optimizing custom ABAP code Experience in SAP IBP integrations using CPI, PI / PO, SDI or similar middleware tools Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills Experience with SAP IBP object development and integration Understanding of e-commerce and supply chain processes in SAP Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Experience with SAP CPI DS , managing tasks and process chains Exposure to SAP Ariba , SAP BI / Analytics tools Familiarity with Jira, Confluence for project tracking Formal training or certifications in problem-solving or SAP methodologies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and collaborative environment Open to travel up to 20% as needed Willing to work extra hours when project deadlines require
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze, design, develop, and support SAP ABAP solutions including reporting, dialog programming, forms, workflows, enhancements, and interfaces.
- Act as a subject matter expert for ABAP-related changes and enhancements in SIOP projects.
- Lead the technical integration between SAP ECC and SAP IBP , using middleware tools such as CPI .
- Translate functional specifications into technical specifications, code, perform unit testing, and document solutions.
- Provide technical support for SIOP processes and work closely with business analysts, architects, and other technical teams.
- Guide and perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to ABAP coding standards .
- Create technical documentation, test plans, and participate in testing activities.
- Support multiple SAP supply chain modules and ensure end-to-end integration and performance.
- Participate in SAP system updates, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Follow development standards and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
