Role Description :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP TM Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in ABAP development within the SAP Transportation Management (TM) module. This role requires a deep understanding of core TM frameworks and a strong background in both traditional ABAP and modern clean core development methodologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing SAP programs and solutions to meet complex business requirements in TM and integrated modules.

Key Responsibilities :

ABAP Development : Design and develop ABAP programs in both SAP ECC and S / 4HANA environments, with a focus on SAP TM.
Framework Expertise : Utilize and enhance core TM frameworks, including BOPF, FPM, FBI, Web Dynpro, and VSR Optimizer BadIs.
Clean Core Development : Develop solutions following clean core frameworks and methodologies, with experience in CDS views, OData, and RAP.
Integration : Enhance and integrate SAP TM with other modules such as GTS, EM, and eWM.
API & Interface Management : Develop and enhance standard services with additional data, and integrate REST and SOAP APIs into TM.
Code Quality : Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and technical specification reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
Module Knowledge : Apply knowledge of TM master data, order management, planning, freight order management, tendering, freight settlement, and the use of BRF+.

Technical Skills :

ABAP Development : Strong hands-on ABAP development skills, including regular ABAP coding, as well as Module Pool Programming, RF Screen Programming, and Web Dynpro.

Enhancements : Experience with enhancement technologies like BADIs, User Exits, and Enhancement Frameworks.

Integration : Proficiency in interface technologies like ALE / IDOC, BAPIs, and Webservices.

Forms : Knowledge of forms technologies such as Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, and SAP Scripts.

SAP TM : Deep understanding of TM master data, order management, planning, tendering, freight settlement, and the use of BRF+.

S / 4HANA : Must have S / 4HANA implementation experience and hands-on experience with S / 4HANA Embedded TM.

Modern ABAP : Experience with BOPF, FPM, FBI, CDS views, OData, and RAP.

Cloud : Hands-on experience with integrating REST and SOAP APIs into TM.

Education : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Required Experience :

Overall Experience : Minimum of 6+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP TM Consultant.
