The Digital & Technology function is responsible for transforming Diageo through the use of technology and for ensuring that all technology which underpins the Company continues to run in a stable, secure and cost effective manner.

Financial - no direct budget ownership; indirect influence on value realization by improving adoption and capability usage across markets and brands.

Market Complexity - Global remit

Leadership Responsibilities & Capabilities - works in close collaboration with all D&T teams, as well as Communication leads in other functions / geographies. Engages with external agencies, where appropriate, as well as internal teams in the production of communications content.

Purpose of Role

The D&T communications manager is responsible for setting and driving the communications agenda for the function, including internal communications to keep the D&T organization updated and engaged, as well as communications external to the function to help promote the role and achievements of D&T, and to assist with communication of D&T driven changes.

Key Responsibilities

Communications Planning

• Develop and own the communications plan for the D&T function, with clear and aligned communications goals / themes across the D&T senior leadership team
• Collaborate with other communications leads, to ensure a joined-up approach for cross-functional communications
• Coordinate with HR to create a holistic view of all employee engagement and development activities.
