The
Workday HCM Consultant (Integrations Specialist)
will serve as the primary administrator and technical expert for the organization’s Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing integrations between Workday and other internal and external systems, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and system efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday integrations, configuration, and HR functional processes.
Key Responsibilities :
System Administration & Configuration
Act as the
Workday HCM System Administrator , managing configuration, security, and functional setup.
Partner with HR and IT teams to ensure Workday meets evolving business needs across modules such as Performance, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, and Absence Management.
Manage and execute
data loads using Workday’s Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)
functionality.
Evaluate new Workday features and functionality during bi-annual releases; assess and recommend adoption strategies.
Integrations & Technical Development
Serve as the
in-house specialist
for Workday integrations to and from internal systems or external vendors (e.g., payroll, benefits providers).
Design, build, and maintain integrations using
Workday Studio ,
BIRT (Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools) , and
EIB .
Troubleshoot and maintain integration processes, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
Collaborate with internal IT or third-party vendors for complex integration projects, ensuring timely and secure implementation.
Data Governance & Compliance
Maintain system data accuracy and ensure compliance with
data privacy regulations
(e.g., Data Privacy Act, GDPR, etc.).
Support audits and generate required reports for HR leadership and compliance teams.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with HR business partners and global HR teams to understand business requirements and deliver scalable Workday solutions.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and deliver new functionality and enhancements.
Qualifications & Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree
in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
5-10+ years of experience
using
Workday HCM
as a system administrator, HRIS analyst, or technical consultant.
Strong experience in
Workday integrations
(Studio, EIB, BIRT, and related tools).
Proficient in the
Microsoft Office Suite
(Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Workday Certifications
(Studio, Integrations, or Core HCM) strongly preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Excellent attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, and a commitment to data quality and compliance.
