We are looking for a
Workday HCM Associate Manager
to lead the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of our Workday ecosystem. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that our HR systems evolve in alignment with Sutherland’s global people strategy and business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Workday HCM Management
Oversee daily operations, configurations, and maintenance of the Workday HCM system.
Manage configuration updates, testing, and deployment of new functionalities and releases.
Ensure data accuracy, system integrity, and compliance with global security and privacy standards.
Act as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and business stakeholders for system enhancements, issue resolution, and process improvements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead and mentor a small team of Workday analysts or specialists, fostering a culture of learning and accountability.
Prioritize and allocate workloads efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of system changes and support requests.
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), Payroll, and Business HR teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Workday solutions.
Continuous Improvement & Governance
Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and improve efficiency through Workday automation, dashboards, and integrations.
Maintain robust documentation for configurations, workflows, and data governance standards.
Stay ahead of Workday release updates, assess their business impact, and coordinate testing and rollout of new features.
Stakeholder Management
Partner with global and regional HR leadership to align Workday capabilities with organizational goals.
Present analytics, reports, and recommendations to senior stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
4–7 years of hands-on experience with Workday HCM, including configuration, reporting, and integrations.
Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance, and compliance.
Experience in Workday security management, business process design, and data loads.
Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global, and matrixed organization.
