Role Overview
Whispering Woods is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead revenue growth, corporate partnerships, OTA channel management, and overall business expansion. This role goes beyond sales — you will shape brand positioning, drive revenue optimization, and identify new opportunities for market growth. The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and innovative, with the ability to spot trends, plug revenue leakages, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful results .
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Drive revenue through multiple channels : direct bookings, corporate clients, OTAs, travel agents, and partnerships.
- Build and nurture strong client and partner relationships to maximize business opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business avenues to expand market share.
- Lead sales pitches, negotiations, and client engagement for high-value accounts .
Revenue Management
Monitor daily / weekly / monthly revenue performance, identifying gaps and plugging leakages.Forecast, budget, and optimize revenue streams.Analyze booking trends, pricing strategies, and market demand to maximize occupancy and profitability.Maintain healthy cost-to-revenue balance while ensuring sustainable margins .Brand & Market Growth
Partner with the Marketing team to conceptualize and execute brand campaigns, promotions, and growth initiatives.Track competitor activities, market trends, and emerging opportunities.Contribute ideas for brand positioning, innovative offerings, and long-term growth strategies.Ensure consistent brand presence across digital platforms, OTAs, and corporate channels .Strategic Planning & Research
Conduct research to identify untapped markets and customer segments.Provide insights on consumer behavior, competitor pricing, and market demand.Develop and implement business expansion strategies aligned with organizational goals .Requirements
5+ years of proven experience in Business Development, Sales, or Revenue Management (hospitality, travel, or service industry preferred).Strong knowledge of OTA platforms, corporate sales, and revenue management systems.Expertise in negotiation, client relationship management, and strategic planning.Strong business acumen with a detail-oriented approach to spotting revenue leakages.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, management).Self-motivated, innovative, and target-driven .What We Offer
