We are seeking a Procurement Senior Associate to join Amgen's Global Procure to Pay ( P2P ) organization. You will be responsible for supporting the Global Procurement process, with a primary focus on resolving escalations and ensuring the smooth flow of the requisition-to-order process. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus, a problem-solving attitude, and the ability to work effectively with various internal and external parties.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Escalation Resolution : Resolve escalations from the Business Process Outsourcing ( BPO ) requisitioning team. You will engage with relevant parties, including requesters, sourcing teams, and suppliers, to resolve Requisition and PO -related issues.
- Process Improvement : Conduct reporting on common issues and identify opportunities for process improvement, recommending effective solutions.
- Compliance & Timelines : Ensure the timely closeout of open POs and guarantee compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, and laws within the Source to Pay process.
- Customer Satisfaction : Drive customer satisfaction through the timely and accurate resolution of exceptions, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaboration : Work with various members of the Procure to Pay team and the BPO to ensure a seamless and efficient process.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of the requisition-to-order process.SAP experience is preferred.Ariba procurement experience is preferred.Proficiency in MS Office , especially Microsoft Outlook and Excel .Qualifications
A Master's degree, or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of directly related experience, or an Associate's degree with 6 years of experience, or a High school diploma / GED with 8 years of experience.A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a closely related field is preferred.2+ years of experience in the Procure to Pay space, particularly with requisition and procurement activities, is preferred.Soft Skills
