About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Direct Sales Manager to drive software solution sales directly to Government, Defence, and PSU clients . The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of enterprise software solutions, government procurement processes, and strong connects within government departments and ministries.
Key Responsibilities :
Drive direct sales of software solutions to Government, PSU, and Defence customers .
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the government and public sector ecosystem.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle — from lead generation, RFP participation, proposal submission, to closure.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Government Ministries, Departments, and PSUs .
Work closely with pre-sales and technical teams to align customer needs with product offerings.
Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
Stay informed about government IT initiatives, tenders, and procurement processes .
Provide regular reports on sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline to management.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
Education : B.Tech / B.E. with MBA .
Experience : 4–5 years of experience in Software Sales / IT Solution Sales .
Proven experience in Direct Sales to Government, Defence, and PSU customers .
Strong network and connections with Government Ministries, Departments, and PSUs .
Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
Good understanding of government e-procurement systems and tendering processes.
Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
