You need to be a HODLer of these
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering.5+ years of leadership experience and ideally, first experience in leading a team of managers
- Proven track record of building, operating and scaling large scale distributed systems & architectures.
- Proficiency in microservices architecture, Databases, Infrastructure as code solutions, Configuration management tools, CI / CD tools, Infrastructure & Application monitoring and containerization.
- Deep understanding of all aspects of the software development life cycle as well as agile principles
- Empathetic, people-centered mindset and a passion for leadership
- Familiarity with managing teams that only had other engineering teams as customers
- Coaching mentality with a willingness to lead and drive company-wide initiatives
- Preferably, track record of designing Engineering organizational structures
- Excellent communication skills
