We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Team Manager - B2B to lead and grow our inside sales team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
This role requires strong leadership abilities, proven experience in B2B sales, and the capability to collaborate across departments to maximize business opportunities.
The candidate will develop and implement effective sales strategies, oversee lead generation to deal closure, and track sales metrics to evaluate team performance.
They will play a critical role in motivating and mentoring the sales team, maintaining high levels of productivity, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Additionally, the role requires building strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with marketing and product teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute B2B sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals
Manage and oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to ensure high performance
Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve lead generation and conversion rates
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients while exploring new business opportunities
Ensure timely follow-ups, high-quality client communication, and adherence to sales best MBA or equivalent degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B inside sales with at least 3 years in a managerial role
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes and strategies
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Experience in ed-tech, SaaS, training, or related B2B industries is an added advantage
Technical Skills :
CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Familiarity with lead generation platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or ZoomInfo
Knowledge of sales automation tools and reporting dashboards
Understanding of data analytics for sales performance tracking
