Sales Team Manager - B2B

  • We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Team Manager - B2B to lead and grow our inside sales team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets.
  • This role requires strong leadership abilities, proven experience in B2B sales, and the capability to collaborate across departments to maximize business opportunities.
  • The candidate will develop and implement effective sales strategies, oversee lead generation to deal closure, and track sales metrics to evaluate team performance.
  • They will play a critical role in motivating and mentoring the sales team, maintaining high levels of productivity, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Additionally, the role requires building strong relationships with key clients, identifying new business opportunities, and working closely with marketing and product teams to improve lead quality and conversion rates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute B2B sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Manage and oversee the entire sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives to ensure high performance
  • Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve lead generation and conversion rates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients while exploring new business opportunities
  • Ensure timely follow-ups, high-quality client communication, and adherence to sales best MBA or equivalent degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B inside sales with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales processes and strategies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in ed-tech, SaaS, training, or related B2B industries is an added advantage
  • Technical Skills :

  • CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho CRM
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiarity with lead generation platforms such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, or ZoomInfo
  • Knowledge of sales automation tools and reporting dashboards
  • Understanding of data analytics for sales performance tracking
