Engineer Quality Assurance

Management and staff in Tungsten Automation's Quality Assurance job family help the company to assure that its products and technology solutions are designed and built in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.  The position of Engineer is a core, entry-level departmental role and appointees are expected to perform whole core departmental tasks; albeit more basic tasks by comparison to Senior Engineers / Specialists and above.

Engineers will perform some of the following work and be involved in other aspects, as assigned :

• Developing quality assurance standards, requirements and metrics for all Tungsten Automation products and their applications, as well as customer-specific technology solutions
• Identifying, acquiring and using industry best-practice equipment, systems and programs for conducting all product and solutions’ quality assurance testing
• Working with cross-functional partners, such as Core Engineering and Product Management, to proactively evaluate product roadmaps and other innovations; contributing a specialist quality assurance perspective and providing such input and feedback into the development process

Developing and executing against quality assurance test plans :

Required Skills

Required Qualifications :

Strong experience with product deployments on servers or cloud environments.

Proficient in working with virtual machines and virtualization technologies.

Solid understanding of testing SaaS applications and related best practices.

Good understanding / working experience with product deployment

Preferred Qualifications :

Familiarity with containerization technologies, especially Docker; hands-on experience with Docker deployments is a plus.

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure; practical experience deploying to Azure is highly desirable.

Exposure to testing AI / ML and Generative AI applications is an advantage.

Experience working with SaaS based applications is preferred

Understanding of AI / ML and testing Generative AI applications is an advantage

Good to have :

Knowledge of working with Test Complete and / or Selenium.

Knowledge of building an automation framework.
